The Blue Jackets had practice in Columbus on Friday before flying to Washington for game five of their first round Stanley Cup Playoffs series on Saturday. The Jackets are looking to bounce back following two straight losses to the Capitals on home ice. The messaging was consistent from the players and head coach John Tortorella at Friday's practice: the series is tied, and the next three games are an opportunity to wipe the slate clean.
SOUNDS
Head Coach John Tortorella talked about the pressure the team felt to perform for the crowd on home ice, and how important a first round series win is for the franchise as a whole.

Cam Atkinson talked about looking at the series like the best of three games.

Ian Cole discussed the evolution of a long playoff run. He specifically talked about how learning and recovering from these kind of experiences would end up being a huge asset for the team going forward.

Defenseman Zach Werenski discussed the team's style of play and how Washington was able to limit that style of play in game four.

SIGHTS
Alex Wennberg joined the team back at practice on Friday after missing games three and four due to an upper body injury, and then the Blue Jackets were off to Washington D.C.
